Tara graduated from West Virginia University with her BSDH degree in 2016. She joined our office in 2021, working 2 days a week while also working full-time at a pediatric dental office. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is getting to know her patients and educating them on their oral health to maximize their overall health. In her free time, she loves cheering on WVU and Philadelphia sports teams and traveling with her husband, Kristopher, and their dog, Beau.
Colleen has been practicing dental hygiene since 1988. Her career began over 35 years ago after completing a dental assisting externship at Temple University and graduating class president from National School of Health Technology. After working as a dental assistant for several years, she pursued an Associates Degree in dental hygiene at Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina and was the recipient of the Golden Scaler Award.
In addition to several decades in private practice, Colleen successfully ran her own dental consulting business for 15 years, Perio-Therapeutics & Beyond. She has been published in several dental publications and served on the Board of Trustees for PA Dental Hygienists Association. She also volunteered her time at Sealant Saturday in West Philadelphia and treated patients at Community Volunteers in Medicine in Paoli.
Colleen is currently a clinical trainer teaching other hygienists the skills to confidently use piezoelectric ultrasonic scalers. The center of Colleen’s life is her faith and her 3 children: Bill, Ryan and Danielle.
